What’s the point in trying at all?
Absurd it is to take a fall.
My mind aware of what’s to follow-
Months of chit-chat, bleak and hollow.
I tried in vain, I'm not enough.
Too young, too old, too dark, too buff!
No time to talk, to think, to hug,
Now throw it in, the grave is dug.
I know we feel no love, no hate
And you are 20 minutes late.
You talk, yet seem to gaze beyond;
Go now, go seek that Love profound.
This is my place within this world
Long waits and angry words not hurled.
And augury that I don't need,
And memory that wants no
feed.
I'm back, twas here that I began
Checking my watch in early Jan.
So What was the point in trying at alll?
Absurd indeed to take a fall. |
Here I am....a complete non-believer of human virtues like love and friendship. I started my journey as a cynic at the tender age of 10. Growing up, I realised that we have an instinctive tendency to believe in good yet live with a definite inclination towards evil.
